Spring has finally arrived, and the residents are taking full advantage of the beautiful grounds here at Arrowhead Flats. People are relaxing, meeting their neighbors, and soaking up the warmth of the new season.
The Fishing. We’ve been pleasantly surprised to see how many people are enjoying fishing. Young and old(er), they are angling for a catch – with some pretty impressive results. Here’s a fish that didn’t get away!
The Wildlife. It’s not just the fish, though. We also have turtles and lots of birds who settle on the pond. We even have a pair of geese who are awaiting the birth of their new brood. (Stay tuned for pictures!) But our favorites may be the very shy muskrats who have chosen to make their home alongside us.
The Plants. Of course the best part of Spring may be the flowers. In our yards, the new trees are budding. Flowers are blooming in our flowerbeds as well as on the porches and balconies of our community. At least one of our residents even has pots of tomatoes, getting ready for those summer tomato sandwiches!
We’re all discovering that one of the great things about The Flats is that you’re really close to the Interstate and shopping, but you’re also really close to nature. After a long day, it’s wonderful place to come home to. Welcome Home!
